Our organic whole bulb and peeled black garlic contain only one ingredient: Organic Garlic.

We believe in treating our environment, bodies & conscience ethically. At Black Garlic North America we proudly ferment and age our organic black garlic right here in Wisconsin, USA! Organic products include: Whole Bulbs, Peeled Cloves, Puree and Black Garlic Powder (with more to come!)

Black garlic is fresh garlic that has gone through a high heat, long duration, fermentation process. The reaction that occurs during fermentation changes many of the chemical components within raw garlic, converting the antioxidant Allicin into potent and stable S-Allyl-Cysteine (SAC), doubling the antioxidant capacity! Our fermented black garlic contains high levels of S-Allyl Cysteine (SAC)! In addition to SAC, antioxidant-rich micronutrients like polyphenols are found in black garlic at nearly twice the levels found in fresh garlic! Other polyphenol-rich foods include cloves, flaxseed meal and ginger.

Our Organic Black Garlic is Certified Organic by MOSA.

About MOSA, in their own words: MOSA began in 1999 before the National Organic Standards were yet developed and MOSA, like certifiers across the country, used their own set of standards to determine organic qualifications. The National Organic Standards were implemented in 2002, and MOSA was among the very first USDA accredited agencies. MOSA is a fiscally-sound, stable, and well-respected nonprofit certification agency…. [they] work in partnership with the Accredited Certifiers Association, the National Organic Program, the National Organic Standards Board, Organic Materials Review Institute, and others.”
